Dr. Damianos will begin by reviewing the diagnostic criteria for and pathophysiology of IBS. Then, he will present major gastroenterology professional association guidelines regarding supplements for IBS. Then, he will highlight the evidence for specific interventions, including fiber, peppermint oil, vitamin D, and probiotics.
